This Coming Sunday

Sunday, Rev. Kathy will be preaching on the familiar story of the woman at the well. Jesus tells her and us that he can provide "living water" so that we will not thirst. Of course, there are times that we feel spiritually thirsty. As the Psalmist says, "As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God" (Psalm 42:1-2a). How do we access that living water that Jesus also tells us flows from our hearts? We will be looking at water as a symbol of renewal, as the source of what makes our hearts sing. We are about to enter the final week of our renewal summer, which provides us with an opportunity to look back and reflect on what we have experienced and heard over the summer.

Read the story here, and join us Sunday to talk about it.
