Two weeks ago in worship, we encountered the hospitality giving, threshold dwelling, unnamed “Widow of Zarapheth” in the First Testament, I can’t help but wonder if the Gospel writers had her in mind when they told this story about another unnamed Syrophoenician woman, hundreds of years later. Join us this Sunday as we meet yet another Canaanite woman in Matthew 15 who as Rev.
