Scripture Seekers Bible Study

Our Scripture Seekers/Thursday evening group is embarking on a new adventure. And you are invited to join us at 5:30 in the Ross Blue Room! As "Seekers Embracing the Journey" we are more exploring our growing faith practice of asking deeper and better questions- by immersing ourselves in a study of "Living the Questions, 2.0."  Each Thursday evening, we will explore a scripture related to the theme, and view a 20 minute video that features a diverse group of progressive Christian theological voices that will help us discover how to make sense of the complexities we find ourselves in as a nation, and what might be next for us as progressive Christians. After unpacking the scripture and hearing the thoughts of our theological guides - We will share and discuss what is coming up for us. (This is the really fun and transformative part with this group). I invite you to bring your whole self and your questions because I promise you - it will be a lively conversation. - Rev. Jeanne

Here are some are our upcoming themes and meeting dates. I will post the scriptures we will be exploring in each session in advance so you can read them before we meet if you would like. We also have a "home version" of the videos we will be using each week in my office library. So if you miss a week and would like to check it out (and return it quickly so others can use it) that resource is available:
